New Jersey Radon Testing

AirWays uses the electret ionization chamber method of radon testing. The E-PERM test device is preferable to the more commonly used charcoal canister test device.
For each house tested, a minimum of two test devices are placed.
Tamper-resistant methods ensure the reliability of test results. Test devices are secured in place so that they cannot be moved. Tamper-indicating seals are placed on windows to prevent and detect opening.
Results are typically available on the day following the completion of the test. Test results are given over the telephone along with an explanation of their significance to the client. With permission, the test report is then transmitted via telefax to his/her attorney to expedite the real estate purchase process.
There is a potential conflict of interest for a firm that performs a radon testing service and also offers radon mitigation services. AirWays only provides radon measurement services and has no affiliation with radon mitigation firms.
